The team has submitted to the Erasmus+ EU funding program this morning - it’s been a challenging experience but we’re very pleased with the final application. Focussing on a blend of academic and practical work, the application looks to create sustainable community development through education, tourism and social/youth work.
The partners on the project are:
Scottish Traditional Boat Festival (UK)
Scottish Fisheries Museum (UK)
IBTC – International Boatbuilding Training College (UK)
National Historic Ships (UK)
Engoyholmen Kystkultursenter (Norway)
Forbundet KYSTEN (Norway)
HLB – Høgskulen for landbruk og bygdeutvikling – Norwegian University College for Agriculture and Rural Development (Norway)
Cooperative Vertrouwen (Netherlands)
Several other organisations were keen to be part of this particular aspect of the Ring but were unable to join as at this time due to pressing commitments of their own – but we’re sure there will be many ways we can all benefit from the project. Watch this space!
